Description
We are looking for Packaging Assistants who can commit Long Term (our past assistants have been with us for around 1-2yrs each, even up to 3yrs & more). We require assistance with various SMALL items - this is NOT the same as pick & pack or warehouse packing. There are various tasks, here are some examples: - Quality Control (QC) for a variety of products - pin badges, keychains, pin backings, magnet accessories, etc - Attaching pin badges, keychains, etc onto backing cards or into plastic packaging, etc - Apply sticker labels or price tags - Packing items for retail sales or online orders - Counting stocks and inventory - Minor adjustment of accessories (example, keychains) There are other similar tasks, the above is a general idea. Our ideal Assistant should be the following: - Patient, meticulous, careful, speedy and efficient - Must be ok with repetitive handiwork - some tasks can be tedious and menial - Able to work on-site (tools and materials provided) Tasks are carried out ON-SITE weekly (days and timings to be discussed). Many have asked if possible to complete the tasks at home, but as stocks, materials and tools are with us (these can be quite heavy too), plus we need to supervise, it is currently not possible. Training will be provided but it's a bonus if you like and have handled crafts before or have prior experience in packaging small items. We're looking for suitable candidates for long term. Hence, the first session is a trial at $8/hr for first hour. Subsequently hourly rate will be $10/hr. Location: 4 Everton Park (nearest MRT in walking distance is Outram Park)
