I am looking for a Dog daycare assistant (Pawfessor) to help supervise and engage with dogs in a daycare setting. Task Description: - Supervise dog playgroups, ensuring the safety and well-being of all dogs. - Actively engage with dogs, initiating play and providing cuddles. - Manage dog behavior using a mix of positive reinforcement and firm, consistent verbal commands. - Assist with up to 10 dogs per shift, focusing on large breeds and high-energy dogs. Skills and Experience Required: - Proven experience in dog handling and supervision, especially with large breeds and high-energy dogs. - Strong understanding and application of positive reinforcement techniques for dog behavior management. - Ability to maintain a safe and engaging environment for multiple dogs. - Excellent communication skills for interacting with dogs and potentially other staff members.
