Description

I am looking for a service to carefully remove the hyoid apparatus from a frog specimen. Task Description: - Humanely euthanize a live frog specimen prior to dissection. - Dissect and remove only the bony or cartilaginous elements of the hyoid apparatus. - Ensure the hyoid apparatus is intact and free from any attached soft tissues after removal. - The removed hyoid apparatus will be used for morphological study and detailed anatomical analysis. Skills and Experience Required: - Proficiency in humane animal euthanasia techniques. - Expertise in precise dissection using standard surgical tools. - Strong understanding of frog anatomy, particularly the hyoid apparatus. - Experience in preparing specimens for morphological and anatomical studies. Course task instruction: Tongue: Remove the hyoid apparatus located underneath the frog’s tongue. Once removed, place it between two glass slides and secure them together using two rubber bands.
