Description

I am looking for a Flora Field Assistant to help with physical tree tagging. Task Description: - Assist in measuring tree girth and physically tagging trees using caution tape and a permanent marker. - Navigate thorny, climber-vegetated, and uneven terrain efficiently and safely. - Work for 4 hours per day, from morning until noon. Skills and Experience Required: - Physical fitness and the ability to navigate rugged terrains safely. - Experience working efficiently and quickly in outdoor environments. - Ability to occasionally use a machete for trailblazing is a bonus. - Have equipment pouch or suitable carrying bag to securely hold field equipment (e.g. measuring tape) while keeping it readily accessible. Carrying equipment by hand throughout the survey is impractical.
