About the Role We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Social Media & Content Assistant to support a professional event host/emcee during live events. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys capturing moments, storytelling through visuals, and being part of exciting corporate and community events. The assistant will accompany the host to selected events and help capture photos and short videos for social media and portfolio use. Key Responsibilities • Accompany the host to events (corporate, weddings, community events, launches, etc.) • Capture behind-the-scenes content, stage moments, audience interactions, and highlight shots using: • Mobile phone (required) • Personal camera equipment (optional but a bonus) • Take candid photos and short video clips suitable for Instagram, TikTok, and portfolio use • Ensure important moments are captured (arrival, stage presence, interactions, key programme segments) • Send curated photos and video clips after the event in an organised manner (e.g., Google Drive / AirDrop) ⸻ Requirements • Comfortable using a smartphone to take photos and videos • Basic understanding of angles, lighting, and framing • Able to capture clear, steady footage (not shaky or blurry) • Responsible, punctual, and able to follow simple creative direction • Friendly personality and comfortable working in event environments • Prior content creation experience is a bonus but not required We are not looking for professional photographers, but someone with a good eye who can capture usable content for social media and marketing purposes. ⸻ Bonus Skills (Nice to Have) • Own camera or gimbal • Basic editing skills (CapCut, InShot, Canva, etc.) • Experience shooting reels or short-form content ⸻ Commitment & Pay • Event-based / flexible schedule • Typically 2–6hours per event (depending on programme) • Location varies across Singapore • Pay: Negotiable (purely taking photos/ videos from $15/hr, minimum payout is $40 per event) If you are able to do editing, it will be an additional rate offered. ⸻ Who This Role Is Perfect For • Poly or university students • Aspiring content creators • Media / communications students • Anyone who enjoys events and social media storytelling
